A Geelong CBD institution since 1891, the Elephant & Castle delivers one of the city's most consistent pub experiences. The beer garden is among Geelong's best — a genuine sun-trap with a relaxed atmosphere. A packed weekly events calendar keeps the regulars coming back: premium steak nights Wednesday and Friday (from $25), Jackpot Trivia and Parmi Night every Thursday, Sunday roasts with all the trimmings for $30, and free live bands every weekend. Closed Monday and Tuesday; lunch specials Wednesday to Saturday include a free pot or house wine.
