About Highton
Highton is a large residential suburb about 5km south of Geelong CBD, spreading across the ridgeline above the Barwon River valley. With a population of more than 15,000 people, it's one of Greater Geelong's biggest middle-ring suburbs — a mix of established families, newer estates, and easy freeway access to Melbourne. The Highton Hotel on Barrabool Road is the suburb's central pub, a full-facility local serving the community seven days a week.
