About
The 18th Amendment Bar takes its name from the US constitutional amendment that prohibited the manufacture and sale of alcohol in 1920 — and takes the theme seriously. Set at 82a Little Malop Street in the Geelong CBD, this is a prohibition-era speakeasy bar with a spirit selection of over 600 labels, one of the largest in regional Victoria.
The cocktails lean theatrical: expect period-accurate Prohibition serves alongside modern interpretations that play with the speakeasy aesthetic. The bar sits on Little Malop Street alongside Non Disclosure Bar and The Arborist — Geelong's emerging cocktail strip, with three bars within 300 metres of each other.
